Are you a partner of Netflix?

No. We are not affiliated with the Duffer Brothers or Netflix in any way, however, our tours are run with Netflix's Content & Brand IP Counsel’s approval, well wishes & support of our business! :)

What are your hours?

Stranger Tours currently operates on Saturdays & Sundays. Tour hours vary depending on which you choose to go on. We have multiple options, each offering different sites to see. Choices are located under the Tour Options tab in the website menu.

What if I want to visit multiple locations, but they’re listed under different tours?

We have thoroughly enjoyed every single location we’ve been to & would love to include every site in one totally tubular tour! The cast & crew worked very hard filming all over the state, so unfortunately, it’s just not all possible in one route. The good news is, if you have toured with us before, you are entitled to 8% off (thank Kali!) your admission cost when you book a second time. Should you choose to book with us a third time, you will receive 11% off (thank Jane!). These discounts can be used for the same tour enjoyed multiple times, or for a different route each time. We love repeat guests!

What is the cost of the tour?

Friends don't lie. And now that we're friends, we'll let you in on a secret: We have the most affordable pricing for Stranger Things film location tours by up to $235.00 per ticket! (Side note: We include more locations too, but who's counting?) Tour admission is $65.00 per person. We also offer an upgraded ticket option for $80.00, if you're looking for the best value. The upgraded ticket price includes a T-shirt & gift bag!

Non-Georgia Residents & Repeat Guests - Contact us prior to booking to take advantage of your discount eligibility! Please note: A member of your party (whether it be your Mage or your Zoomer!) will be required to contact us prior to booking in order to receive the discount.

Can MY GROUP reserve a CLOSED TOUR?

Mouthbreathers aren't welcome on our tours, but private tour groups absolutely are! We love the comfort of good friends, a family, a group of coworkers, etc. All private group options do require our maximum capacity of 6 guests to reserve the preferred tour time in advance. 

can i host a party with you?

We love hosting parties! Tours can include your choice of a personalized Stranger Things themed cake or cupcakes, balloons, decor & a card from our team with advance notice. Let us know the occasion, be it a birthday, graduation, bachelor or bachelorette party, congratulations, surprise, etc. & we will be more than happy to accommodate you. Sorry, Nancy's "Pure Fuel" will not be provided on the road!

The Party Package can be added on to any ticket purchase for an additional $50.00.

What do I get out of my purchase?

Besides bragging rights the next time someone brings up the awesomeness that is Stranger Things, of course… An overall great time! Our tours consist of a 3-4 hour journey in a comfortable large SUV, during which the show’s catchy instrumental soundtrack along with everyone’s favorite 80’s jams will echo through the speakers. Depending which tour you choose to take, we will stop for approximately 15-30 minutes to explore each location & allow you to take photos. Our Stranger Tours team members will host a Stranger Things themed version of the game 'Heads Up' & a trivia game during our routes for those who wish to play. If you end up the trivia champ, you'll get to take home a prize! Who knows, you may even get your name displayed as the top scorer on Dig Dug!

Is there anything required of me to do for the tour?

Yes. We ask that any social media postings are accompanied by our hashtag, #tourtheupsidedown! Any individual that joins us for a tour is also required to sign a Waiver/Release of Liability form before the tour begins. These will be provided by our team at your tour start time. No one under the age of 15 is permitted on the tour without adult supervision. Teenagers (ages 15-17 - must have picture ID) may be dropped off, however, an adult 18 or older MUST sign the Waiver/Release of Liability form on their behalf & provide their own personal contact information to a Stranger Tours team member before leaving. Small children are not permitted on the tour for safety reasons, as car seats cannot legally be accommodated within the vehicle capacity. The recommended age to enjoy touring the Upside Down with Stranger Tours is 10 & up.

What do I need to bring on my tour?

Bring your camera & wear comfortable clothing. Please note: For liability purposes, high heeled shoes are not permitted on our tours, as they do involve some walking & the last thing we want is for someone to get hurt. You know, the demogorgon is drawn to blood... If you arrive in high heels, you will be asked to take them off. We appreciate your understanding! Should you wish to purchase snacks or souvenirs, only cash will be accepted once in route. Our tours run during rain or shine, so feel free to also bring an umbrella if necessary. Eat plenty of Eggos before arriving for AM tours, or plenty of KFC before PM tours, as meals are not provided. We will, however, have snacks available for $1.00 each, & complimentary water will be provided at your request. 

Are you wheelchair accessible?

At this time, we unfortunately cannot accommodate the transportation of reclining, tilting, bariatric, or heavy duty chairs. However, if you use a manual wheelchair which can be folded and stored during the ride, one of our Stranger Tours team members will be more than happy to assist you around the site at each stop, per your request.

Do you offer refunds?

All deposits & admission fees are non-refundable, but we do understand that sometimes plans collide. Should a scheduling conflict arise, we are happy to accommodate you! Please provide us with at least 72 hours’ notice should you need to take advantage of one complimentary reschedule of your tour.

Please keep in mind that if our required minimum guest count (4) is not met for the date & time you choose for your tour, you may be contacted by a Stranger Tours team member to reschedule your tour for the next available route of your choice. We will provide you with as much notice as we possibly can. Promise.

Do you take credit cards?

During your tour, only cash will be accepted for anything you choose to purchase. To book your reservation, we accept all major credit cards through our website. 

When can I expect a reply to filling out the contact form?

Please allow 24 hours for email responses. We’re wrangling demodogs & such, but will be sure to get back to you.

Do you know in advance where filming is taking place?

We can’t tell you in advance & refuse to post any spoilers here, so… cross your fingers & hope for the best! (Why are you winking, Steve? Stop.)
